What is included in a move-out cleaning?
Everything a regular clean covers, plus the inside of all cabinets, drawers and closets, the inside and outside of the refrigerator, oven, microwave and dishwasher, soap scum and mold on tile and grout, and windows inside and out where accessible.
When should I book a move-out cleaning?
As early as possible, ideally one to two weeks ahead. The end of every month is busy, and the last week of August is the busiest of the year, because so many Greater Boston leases end on September 1st.
Does the home need to be empty?
Move cleans work best once the furniture is out, because inspectors check inside cabinets, closets and appliances and along every baseboard. If your timeline is tight, tell us and we will plan around the moving truck.
